Ombili and Shakira, recently had their rabies injections by our vet Ian Baines, which was an interesting afternoon!
The two cubs, who are now becoming proper sub-adult leopards, are also becoming a real handful! They constantly want to stalk and pounce. While on walks, they like to stalk the dogs or explore a nearby abandoned porcupine hole. They tend to walk themselves now opposed to the coordinators and volunteers walking them.
One of their favourite activities during the walks is to find a nearby tree and lounge in it, while the volunteers try and get them to keep walking. They are growing into beautiful leopards with beautiful personalities.
The cubs love playing with their new bales of grass and wooden platform in their enclosure, as well as play fighting each other!
